Bunyip

I was perusing one of my favorite websites, The Boston Globes news in pictures, and saw a picture of a fire in Victoria, Australia. The fire was in The Bunyip State Park which immediately took me back to my childhood Sunday mornings on Philadelphia's Channel 3 with Bertie the Bunyip. I never knew that a Bunyip was something real. I thought it was a made up name for the puppet above. So off to Wikipedia I went to discover that although a Bunyip was not real, it is a mythical creature of the Australian aborigines.
